Chakrata is a cantonment town and sub-district (tehsil) located in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, India. Nestled between the Tons River and the Yamuna River, it sits at an elevation of approximately 2,118 meters above sea level. Chakrata is about 98 km from Dehradun, the state capital, and was originally established as a cantonment by the British Indian Army.

Itinerary

Day 01: Reach Chakrata | Bhudher Cave Trek

Reach Chakrata in morning. Check-in the resort, rest for a while.
After some rest, drive towards Budher cave (a hike of 5km).
In evening, return back to resort.
In evening enjoy bonfire with snacks and some music. Conclude with dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Visit to Tiger Waterfall & chirmiri neck top

After breakfast, check out from resort and visit highest waterfalls in Uttarakhand, known as Tiger Falls.
Later, move towards Chirmiri Neck Top, enjoy scenic sunset. And afterwards depart for Dellhi.
Reach Delhi by early morning.
